DescriptionThis role requires an analytical, efficient, and solutions-focused individual to assist with onboarding clients and supporting them once live on GhostPractice, with the aim of retaining each client for the life of their firm.
Key Responsibilities Implementation- Understand all the functionality within the GhostPractice system.
- Install and set up SQL, GhostPractice, and related software.
- Convert non-financial client data from legacy systems into GhostPractice.
- Perform functional testing of software and test data integrity with the client.
- Assist clients during testing and launch phases with support and guidance.
- Manage projects, including setting milestones and documentation.
- Maintain project documentation and perform administrative tasks.
- Resolve client issues through problem-solving.
- Assist clients with support queries as needed.
- Train clients on all GhostPractice functionalities.
- Conduct classroom or one-on-one training sessions.
- Extract and compile data from various systems.
- Update and maintain CRM systems for account management.
- Assist with billing and debtors query resolution.
- Support implementation and handover processes.
- Assist with events, workshops, and other client-related activities.
- Perform general administrative and ad hoc tasks.
- Well-presented with good telephone etiquette and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English & Afrikaans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Good planning, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Bookkeeping skills are advantageous, especially legal bookkeeping.
- Ability to identify trends and root causes of issues.
- Ability to liaise with various teams and manage delivery.
- Superior knowledge of GhostPractice or similar software.
- Recognised Diploma in IT, Finance, or Management.
- MS Office Certification (advantageous).
- Degree in Finance, Management, IT, or similar (advantageous).

Overall:
- Partner with assigned customers to achieve specific business goals that jointly drive market share, volume and revenue growth.
- Focus on the n the delivery of customized payment solutions and comprehensive consulting support, while leveraging MasterCard's strong brand, technology, operations and risk platforms to deliver bottom line results to customers
- Deliver against sales targets for MasterCard products & services and net revenue targets from new and existing business
- Collaborate with the account team and customer to establish and execute annual business plans and quarterly review sessions to establish, monitor and report progress against joint objectives that include business development, advertising, marketing and product management activities
- Assist with analysis of the customer's business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis
- Obtain or exceed assigned revenue quota
- To ensure delivery of the financial goals as stated in the multiple Business Agreements with these customers
- Deliver the best of MasterCard to these customers by leveraging local and regional resources to maximise development opportunities and provide excellent customer service

Major Accountabilities:
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
Other Responsibilities
- Manage the overall MasterCard / Customer relationships with financial institutions as stated above ("the Customer"), taking responsibility for
- Understanding the business drivers and payment priorities for the Customer
- Preparing and executing against an Account Plan, that focuses on initiatives that will drive mutual growth for both organisations
- Developing a Contact Management plan, to ensure active & relevant communication with executives from the Customer, as part of MasterCard's overall Customer Relationship Management strategy
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities, which could include new products and/or new technology
- Actively engage and coordinate efforts with other Customer-facing MasterCard resources including Product Sales Specialists, Customer Marketing Specialists, MasterCard Advisors Account Specialists, Regional Implementation Support, Strategic Operations and processing resources
- Provide oversight for project plans developed by MasterCard in association with Customers.

The Key Account Management Chemical SSA will be responsible for maintaining and growing the existing book of business and finding new clients in the Chemical space. The role requires a successful collaboration between operations and commercial on contract renewal strategies and addressing scope change opportunities (cross-selling and up-selling) commercially within the existing business. Influence and assist with operational implementation, contributing to client’s satisfaction, reducing risk and improve profitability.
Job Context
Key Account Management Chemical SSA is critical for the success of DP World’s growth strategy and to maintain global and regional relationship with its key clients across the Chemical industry vertical.
The role will focus on client growth through extension of DP World capability offering within existing accounts (farming) as well as hunting for new business in SSA region. This role will also link with Global Key Accounts Management to align strategies and to assist in opening doors for global accounts in the SSA region as well as drive cohesion between business units in SSA.
Director Key Account Management Chemical SSA will work and influence all leaders of all relevant support functions to ensure all commercial activities are supported (operations, operational excellence, finance, IT, HR, legal,) She/he will provide leadership, processes and direction to the commercial organization and she/he will develop talents being accessible, hands-on and leading by example.
Key Performance Areas:
- Accountable for coordinating and assisting in implementing the KAM Framework for strategic existing Chemical clients, providing direction and promoting collaboration with BD Sales and operational teams.
- Meet and exceed financial growth targets for the assigned global Chemical customer accounts and/or new customers annually and expand our geographic and solutions offering footprint with these accounts across DP World service portfolio
- Maintain understanding of customers’ expectations relative to operational solutions, costs and results
- Keep key account plans relevant and up to date and measure/follow up on the strategic actions of the key account and also highlight progress to date
- Identify and in collaboration with account owners and sponsors, assist in develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account
- Manage governance structure and Communications Plan by assisting scheduling and facilitating Biannual and Quarterly Business Reviews with assigned strategic clients as well as monthly operational meetings.
- Construct Account Plans in consultation with operations to understand the customer's business (strategically, operationally, financially), understand the customer's buying process and identify all influences, intimately understanding their requirements
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of current and future opportunities, quantifying number of opportunities, value of the opportunity and managing the probability to win
- Generating new Greenfields business by applying end-to-end DP World model in designing of end-to-end solutions.
- Coordinate RFQs for new business opportunities as required and renewals of existing business with assigned clients engaging other functions as required and own the commercial relationship and contract negotiations
- Follow the internal commercial process, procedures and thresholds
- Foster a close cooperation between Account Management, Business Development (Sales), Operations, Operational Excellence and all other functions (IT, HR, Finance, etc.)
- Partner with colleagues in other regions on broader opportunities for global clients and industry verticals
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
- Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Transport/Logistics
- Proven track record of having consistently achieved on a sales quota at a relevant scale
Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum >8 years’ experience within the transport, logistics or freight forwarding industry (or similar service industry) with focus on Key Account Management or Sales role.
- Leading and managing a team
