Position:
The Student Affairs Administrator provides dedicated administrative support to both the Governance and Wellness portfolios during a critical execution phase. The role ensures effective coordination, documentation, and tracking of national initiatives including the Student Affairs strategy, Social Houses rollout, SRC elections, and wellness programmes. This support allows senior managers and leads to focus on governance, student experience, and wellness outcomes while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in operations
Minimum RequirementsMinimum qualification:
- Relevant Degree in Administration, Business Management, or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in administrative or coordination roles, preferably in higher education, governance, or wellness environments.
- Experience with project support, data management, and reporting will be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
As the Student Affairs Administrator you will be primarily responsible for the following:
Administrative Support
Maintain schedules, trackers, and reports for Student Affairs, Governance, and Wellness initiatives.
- Draft and manage meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action logs.
Support preparation of presentations, communication packs, and governance documents.
Project & Event Coordination
Assist with execution of SRC elections, inductions, leadership training, and Social Houses rollout.
- Provide administrative support for retention and wellness campaigns, events, and student engagement activities.
Track deliverables, deadlines, and risks for ongoing projects across both portfolios.
Data & Reporting
Consolidate campus-level reports, participation data, and governance/wellness records.
- Prepare progress updates and compliance documentation for senior management.
Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and physical) for all Student Affairs records.
Stakeholder Support
Act as the central point of administrative coordination between campuses, senior managers, and national governance/wellness structures.
- Provide timely responses and logistical support for campus requests.
- Ensure consistent templates, forms, and processes are used across all campuses.
Key Deliverables
- Up-to-date trackers and reports on governance, wellness, and Social Houses.
- Accurate documentation of SRC elections, wellness programmes, and governance processes.
- Centralised, standardised filing and reporting systems.
- Administrative support that reduces turnaround times and frees up senior leadership capacity.
