electrical construction management

Key Requirements:

• N.Dip / BTech / BEng in
  Electrical Engineering
  or
  Construction Management
• Minimum 8 years' experience in
  construction management
  , with at least 3 years in
  solar PV or renewable energy projects
• Strong experience in
  electrical construction
  : MV/LV cabling, panel wiring, earthing, testing, and commissioning
• Comprehensive understanding of
  SANS electrical standards
  and
  OHSA Construction Regulations
• Proven leadership and subcontractor management skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all
  site construction activities
  to ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
• Manage
  subcontractors

  , and ensure quality workmanship
• Ensure
  compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Oversee

Role Overview

The Site Quantity Surveyors will be responsible for all site-based quantity surveying functions, including BOQ management, cost control, and contract administration. The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of electrical works such as cabling, substations, and MV/LV reticulation, coupled with strong practical site exposure.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within the electrical construction industry
• Proven experience on utility-scale Solar PV or renewable energy projects
• Proficient in CCS Candy/BuildSmart and BOQ management
• Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, or JBCC contract administration
• Strong site-based experience (not purely office-based)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will lead the project from initiation through to completion, overseeing all aspects including cost, scope, schedule, quality, and client interface. A strong background in
electrical EPC or E-BoP project delivery
is essential, along with proven leadership in multidisciplinary construction environments.

Requirements

• BEng/BTech in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
