What We Need From You
Reporting to our Senior Estimating Manager, you will support the pre-construction team for preparing tenders to secure projects, in particular competitive design and build tenders for both new build and refurbishment projects including liaising with Planners, Design Managers and Preconstruction Managers to deliver innovative solution. Our Senior Estimators obtain the most competitive quotes by understanding current market trends. They identify and report on risk and opportunity, and scope and produce accurate net estimates through consistent achievement that requires challenging the status quo.
- You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.
- You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence.
- Are you a Senior Estimator with knowledge and experience in preparing competitive estimates and cost plans? Or an experienced Estimator ready to take that next step in your career?
- You will have a qualification or the skills and experience at SCQF Level 7 or higher (e.g., HNC)
- Be able to work on multiple projects at various stages at any one time without the need for close supervision
- Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding and execution of tender documentation and reporting of findings to various stakeholders.
- Have a diligent approach to the preparation of information to customers and to the checking of information provided by others
- A focus on estimating software and tender strategy and ability to utilise, interpret, and represent the data collected.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo and apply intelligent solutions to the design management process.

About The Role:

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has announced the opening of applications for its Study Buddy Fund bursary programme. Launched in 2021, the Fund has assisted 55 young people across communities where CCBSA operates, enabling access to tertiary education. The bursary covers full tuition, accommodation fees, and textbooks.
The programme aims to provide comprehensive financial support to indigent students who meet the entry requirements for higher education institutions.
For the 2023 academic year, the Fund will cover tuition and accommodation fees for deserving students in communities where CCBSA has operations, focusing on areas including Mdantsane, Motherwell, Phoenix, Inanda, Ntuzuma, KwaMashu, Greater Eldorado Park (including Freedom Park and Motsoaledi), Tembisa, Greater Nigel, PTA West Ward 55, Westenburg – Seshego, Alabama, and Mangaung.
