Key Responsibilities Operational Management

• Achieve and exceed store sales objectives.

• Maximise income streams, including add-ons, gross profit, and other revenue opportunities.

• Drive and monitor overall store performance.

• Ensure consistent implementation of merchandising and marketing standards.

• Execute all marketing initiatives effectively.

Inventory Management

• Oversee stock control processes to ensure optimal inventory levels.

• Maintain accurate records of stock movement and shrinkage.

• Support the implementation of best practices to improve store profitability.

Customer Service

• Deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience and ensure customer expectations are consistently exceeded.

• Review and action Mystery Shopper reports to improve service delivery.

• Manage and resolve product and retail-related customer complaints promptly.

• Foster a culture of customer-centric service among all team members.

People Management

• Support the training, coaching, and development of store employees to ensure competency and growth.

• Implement effective succession planning within the team.

• Drive consistent and fair performance management practices.

• Promote positive employee relations and maintain high levels of staff engagement.

Administration

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and system requirements.

• Oversee daily operational checks, including cash-ups, safe checks, and alarm checks.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative files and reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.

• Ability to work retail hours , including weekends and public holidays.

• Must be willing to relocate based on business requirements.

• Conducting official on-site stock takes
• Reporting findings to the area manager, stock administrator and the business
• Supporting and training staff with regards to proper inventory management and stock movement
• Knowing, understanding and enforcing stock movement policies and procedures within stores (and where necessary suggestion improvement to existing procedures or proposing a new procedure for a loophole uncovered)
• Extensive traveling to sites for on-site stock taking
• Basic troubleshooting on scanners
• Adhoc duties when needed regarding weekly count monitoring, notion updating, queries from stores, adjustments for head office

• Matric is essential
• Relevant qualification in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business Administration or Marketing is beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Set and revise inventory and financial parameters, including budgets for sales, margin and OTB.
• Capture market and store trends and work closely with the Buying Team to drive a compelling assortment for our Retail doors to maximize.
• Analyze product performance and identify seasonal non-selling items to load on markdown system using Dolphin system.
• Always make sure that the stores are fully stocked on new items and always have the correct size curves.
• Plan product consolidations to move stock between stores.
• Set up and monitor weekly sales category report to identify progress of each category as well as making sure that stock is still in-line.
• Re-trend sales forecast for in-season based on current sales trend in store.
• Work closely with Buying and Marketing Team to identify slow selling lines and overstocked categories to push promotion activity to maximize sales.
• Present bi-weekly style card product performance to identify best-selling styles and poor sellers in-season.
• Allocate stock in time to the correct stores and allow smooth transitioning between campaigns, flows and seasons.
• Constant monitoring and evaluation of stores and stock performance in line with allocation strategies.
• Set up post-seasonal reports to report on past season performance, sales vs stock, full price items vs markdowns by category.
• Liaise with Buying Team on product performance and make sure that stock is still on time / react to stock when needed.

• FULL Nail Technology qualification.
• 2-3 years of working experience in a busy Salon/Spa environment as a Nail Technician.
• KNOW ALL Artificial Nail Systems: Acrylic, Gel, PolyGel, RubberBase, Tips & or Sculpting.
• MUST have NAIL ART & Nail extensions hands-on experience.
• MUST be able to do Manicures & Pedicures.
• MUST have a command of the English language
• MUST be passionate & target driven.
