SUMMARY:
Luxury Game Lodge close to Bonnievale is looking for a passionate and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join their pre-opening team.
POSITION INFO:
Duties:
Take charge of all maintenance activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring repair or enhancement within the hotel facilities.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
Promptly address guest requests for maintenance, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong equipment and facility lifespan.
Manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory, maintaining adequate stock levels.
Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules and records
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects.
Being able to work with the Project Manager for the properties on new projects and repairs.
Monitor maintenance expenses, adhering to budgetary constraints.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures during maintenance activities.
Mentor maintenance staff to enhance skills and performance.
Manage administrative tasks such as email correspondence and staff scheduling.
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal technical qualification.
Proven maintenance supervisory experience in a 4* or 5* establishment.
Strong technical skills with the ability to perform various repairs and maintenance tasks.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for managing schedules, budgets, and communication.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
