- Related IT qualification with specialization in security (preferred).
- 5+ years in an infrastructure security role.
- AWS Cloud Technology certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH, or CISM (preferred).
Work experience :
- Cisco ASA Firewall experience (CCNP Security advantageous).
- Experience with vulnerability scanning software like Nessus.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies, including IAM, WAF, ELB, SecurityHUB, and CloudTrail.
- Experience with security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection, authentication, log management, content filtering, etc.
- Implementing and maintaining a SIEM solution.
Knowledge and Abilities :
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Icinga/Nagios, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, etc. (preferred).
