Job Title: Audit Supervisor

Department: Finance & Accounting

Reports To: Audit Manager

Job Summary: The Audit Supervisor will oversee and conduct the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of auditors during audit engagements.
  • Plan and oversee the auditing process to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Allocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors and provide guidance.
  • Review team members work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct effective risk and control assessments during audits.
  • Prepare reports for senior management highlighting audit findings and providing recommendations.
  • Monitor the implementation of agreed-upon recommendations , ensuring they are followed and that all issues are resolved.
  • Develop continuous improvement initiatives for the auditing process.
  • Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification Completion of SAIPA .
  • Proven experience as an auditor, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices.
  • Updated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities .
  • Excellent communication skills .

Working Conditions:

As an experienced manager/ supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our store, ensuring the smooth running of operations to maximize the customer experience. Manager responsibilities:

  • Organising and overseeing all store operations.
  • Cash-up, banking, and daily retail admin.

  • Preparation and effective control of the store's budget, focusing on cost-efficiency.

  • Complete inspections, micros, audits, and give continuous customer feedback.
  • Be accountable for the root cause analysis.
  • Conduct and report meetings with Team and drive strict performance standards, to meet weekly hygiene and safety objectives.
  • Managing of site budgets including stock control and monitoring of equipment, consumables, and uniforms.
  • Complete Operational documentation and procedures.
  • Ensure internal audits and follow-up audits are conducted.
  • Advise on any HR related queries as and when required

Minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Experience Food Production, FMCG or the cleaning industry essential.
  • Must have own reliable transport and willingness to travel.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within the Food Production Industry.
  • li>Previous experience with the Total Quality Management system is advantageous.
  • Proof of COVID vaccination required.
