Job Duties:

The successful candidate will mainly contribute to the development of the applications currently used in the Middle East Africa Region. Particularly, the candidate will be responsible for the development of software solutions by analyzing information needs; conferring with users regarding the solutions in hand; studying systems flow, date usage and work processes; investigating problem areas and generally following the software development cycle.

The ideal candidate should match the following criteria:

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.

Programming knowledge/ experience using any ofthe given programming languages: C#.Net, Java, Angular, “C”/”C++;

Experience with banking environment will be considered as an advantage.

Personal Characteristics:

Planning and Organizational skills;

Problem solving and Analytical skills;

Customer Service orientation and Team-working abilities.

A good command of the English language (oral and written) .

• API Development and Back-end Services:
  • Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using .Net Core (C#)
  • Implement back-end services, including business logic layers and data access components
  • Build and maintain secure authentication and authorisation services
  • Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of back-end systems
• Data Layer and Persistence:
  • Work with Azure Cosmos DB to design performant, scalable NoSQL data models
  • Build data access patterns optimised for distributed systems and real-time performance
  • Ensure data integrity, versioning, and clean integration with the API layer
• Collaboration and Product Development:
  • Collaborate with Front-End Developers and product owners to shape features and functionality
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
  • Contribute to the definition of architecture and technical direction for the product
• Quality and Continuous Improvement:
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Perform code reviews and support continuous integration/delivery pipelines

• 5+ years in C# and .Net Core for back-end application development
• Strong understanding of REST API design principles and patterns
• Experience working with Azure Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL data stores
• Solid knowledge of authentication and authorisation protocols (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
• Experience integrating cloud-native services in Microsoft Azure

• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, and Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
• Interest in AI and automation technologies

• Back-End & API Development:
  • Develop high-performance, scalable RESTful APIs using .Net Core (C#).
  • Build and maintain backend services, including business logic and secure authentication/authorization layers.
• Data Layer Design:
  • Work with Azure Cosmos DB to design efficient, scalable NoSQL data structures.
  • Implement fast and reliable data access patterns that integrate cleanly with back-end systems.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Partner with Front-End Developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define features and drive product development.
