Job Description
Our client in the manufacturing industry is currently seeking to appoint a Production / Line Manager to be based at their premises in Industria, Johannesburg.
Requirements:
- 6 years’ prior experience as a Production Manager/ Line Manager.
- Must have experience with rubber.
- Line management courses and tertiary education will be preferable.
- Good command of the English language.
- Must have some knowledge of machinery.
- Must show initiative.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- To ensure that rubber is produced to enable the company to meet the orders of our customers.
- To ensure that moulds are changed correctly as per mould change checklist to enable production to meet the orders of our customers.
- To maintain records as may be required by management.
- Annual KPI’s are met as agreed and signed annually (per signed KPI’s for year)
