We have a vacancy for:

COMMENCEMENT: 1 September 2025

The Ridge School is wishing to appoint someone who has specialist knowledge skills and experience in areas related to the performance, education and development of music.

Responsibilities:

  • Piano Teacher (from beginner to advanced).
  • Participate in Music Assemblies and Evening Soirees.
  • Assess the boys’ progress and maintain accurate and complete records of the boys’ progress and development.
  • Prepare boys for external music examinations and scholarship applications.

Experience required:

  • At least 5 years’ teaching experience.
  • Ability to work with boys from Grades 0 to 7.
  • Accompaniment experience for instrumentalists up to Grade 5 level would be advantageous.
  • Music Theory tutoring for beginners would be advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Piano Teaching Licentiate accreditation from an International Music Organisation or BMus.
