We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently. The Air Conditioning Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems for residential and commercial properties.

• Install new air conditioning systems according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and repair any issues or malfunctions with air conditioning systems
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their air conditioning needs
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while performing job duties

• N2 certificate with air conditioning & refrigeration trade theory.
• Completion of trade test
• Completed safe handling of refrigeration certificate

• A RED SEAL or N6 (preferably in Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic/Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, Plumbing in combination with HVAC, Fitting & Turning, Millwright or Electrician );
• You have demonstrable electro-technical work experience;
• Experience in BMS or energy-efficient systems.
• Exposure to data centers, food processing, or mining HVAC setups.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD layouts.
• Experience with fire detection systems, air conditioning systems, building maintenance on commercial buildings, installation of electrical controls, metering devices and ventilation equipment;
• 1-4 years of experience;
• SAQCC Gas Registration (a puls).
• Training from ACRA, Raetech, or similar technical colleges (a plus)
• In possession of a valid driver's license and passport;

• Install, service, and troubleshoot HVAC systems in industrial environments.
• Work with chillers, ducting, VRV/VRF systems, and high-volume ventilation.
• Collaborate with engineers and commissioning teams on-site.
• Ensure safety and compliance with SAQCC and manufacturer guidelines.

• Contract wise:
  • 2-year contract of 40 hours per week.
  • 25 paid holidays a year (+ potential ADV days)
  • Public holidays, with a maximum of 7 per year, which are paid by Xelvin.
  • Holiday allowance of 8.33% (instead of 8,0%) over your total gross annual income. Paid each year in May.
  • Overtime and shift allowance will be paid by Xelvin accordingly.
  • Travel allowance of €0,23 per km, for the use of travelling to work and back home.
  • The salary will be in the range of €500 - 00 gross a month
