About this role
We are looking for a skilled GIS Developer to join our team at our head office. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance GIS applications using ESRI ArcGIS solutions including ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, and Online. You will also be responsible for configuring and managing GIS servers, developing custom GIS web applications, and ensuring data integrity in enterprise geodatabases to support business operations. Additionally, you will provide technical support, training, and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver GIS-based solutions.
What we are looking for
- Strong proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS products: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online
- Expertise in developing custom GIS web applications using ArcGIS JavaScript API and related SDKs
- Experience with Oracle geodatabases, SQL, and database optimization for GIS
- Skilled in Python scripting (ArcPy) for automation, geoprocessing, and workflows
- Ability to install, configure, manage, and optimize ArcGIS Server, Portal, and Data Store
- Prior experience in GIS migration projects and enterprise server configurations
- Business-level English proficiency for clear communication with management, end-users, and technical staff

- Explore and implement new GIS technologies and participate in innovation efforts
Qualifications and skills
- BSc degree or related diploma in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or another relevant field
- ESRI training certificates and related technical certifications preferred
- Strong technical skills with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcPy, ArcGIS JavaScript API, and SDKs
- Proven experience with Oracle geodatabases, SQL, and GIS database administration
- Demonstrated experience in GIS application development and server management
- Experience with additional GIS software, including QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, MapServer, or other open-source GIS tools
- Background in the forestry sector is an added advantage but not mandatory
- Full business English literacy
