We are seeking a Virtual Personal Assistant (VPA) to provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director. As this is a remote position, the successful candidate must have a fully functional home office setup, with stable internet and minimal distractions. Occasional in-office attendance may be required, so candidates must be based in the Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Administrative Support :
    • Manage the Managing Director's diary, scheduling appointments, booking meetings, and ensuring smooth calendar management.
    • Arrange and coordinate travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, and transfers.
    • Handle all general administrative duties, including document preparation, filing, and record-keeping.
    • Assist with creating presentations, reports, and other business documents.
    • Deal with basic queries and administrative requests, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  2. Communication & Coordination :
    • Act as the primary liaison between the MD and both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Set up and manage virtual meetings using Google Meet and other platforms.
    • Track action items and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  3. Finance & Invoicing Support :
    • A basic understanding of finance is required.
    • When needed, provide assistance with invoicing, credit control, and debtor follow-ups.
    • Experience with Xero is advantageous.
  4. Social Media & Creative Support :
    • Assist with light social media management, staying informed on current digital trends and recommending creative ideas.
    • Occasionally capture footage or images to support content creation.
  5. CRM Management :
    • Update and maintain the company's CRM system (experience with Pipedrive would be highly beneficial).
    • Ensure all client interactions, updates, and notes are accurately captured.
  6. Problem-Solving & Ad Hoc Support :
    • Handle unexpected situations and challenges with a calm, solution-focused approach.
    • Use initiative to independently resolve issues while keeping the MD informed.

Minimum Requirements :

Education : Diploma or Degree in Business Administration (or a related field).

Experience :

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, ideally supporting a senior executive. Previous experience working in a remote environment would be an advantage. Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Comfortable setting up and hosting meetings on Google Meet.

SUMMARY:

Our client, a leading business school is looking for dynamic and driven Student Advisors/ School Marketers to support student recruitment, drive brand visibility, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education, strong sales ability, and a flair for marketing.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and register students across all programmes (B2B, B2C, and Seta-related).
  • Conduct school and corporate marketing, presentations, and fieldwork.
  • Advise prospective students and guide them through the registration process.
  • Manage walk-ins, calls, and email queries effectively.
  • Participate in career expos and student events.
  • Maintain accurate student records and update databases.
  • Represent the REGENT brand as a positive and professional ambassador.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Diploma in Sales/Marketing/Student services or related field (advantageous)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or student recruitment
  • Experience in an educational institution (advantageous)
  • Valid driver’s license

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Confident presenter with great interpersonal skills
  • Tech-savvy with MS Office, Zoom/Teams familiarity
  • Strong sales drive, organisational and time-management skills
  • Adaptable, resilient, results-focused

To provide advice, support and/or sales through excellent service and solutions delivery and product knowledge to ensure an excellent banking experience for customers

  • Act responsibly with work related resources in order to contribute to cost containment
  • Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
  • Assist with profit growth for the business through sales and acquisition of new clients
  • Support sales through analysis of client portfolio and pro-active client engagement
  • Understand and proactively engage to optimise client in terms of benefits, fees, returns and so forth
  • Identify sales opportunities and ensure effective management of the leads pipeline
  • Report on transactional and process activities within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making
  • Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements
  • Provide an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all relevant information
  • Address customer needs in order to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Ensure growth and increase in customer base by ensuring the management of existing clients, generates new leads and grows active customer account base
  • Contribute to a culture of service excellence, which builds positive relationships and provides opportunity for feedback and exceptional service
  • Achieve expected financial targets and uphold associated service levels

Minimum Requirement

  • FSCA Recognized NQF level 5
  • RE5
  • Mandated for intermediary sub-cats 1.17, 1.18 and 1.22 (not currently under supervision)
  • 1 -2 years call center experience
