Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an English Teacher based in Polokwane. The English Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, teaching English to students, and monitoring their progress. The role includes preparing educational materials, conducting assessments, and engaging students in interactive learning experiences. The English Teacher will also participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive educational environment.

We are seeking a passionate and qualified 
English Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Home Language or First Additional Language to Grade 12 learners.
• Prepare learners for final examinations with a focus on comprehension, literature, and writing skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Senior and FET Phase or equivalent qualification with PGCE.
• Specialization in English.
• Minimum 2–3 years teaching experience at FET level, preferably Grade 12.
• Registered with SACE (South African Council for Educators).
• Strong command of the English language and curriculum knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, prepare and present interesting and exciting English lessons.

• Current, active SACE registration.
