We are preparing to bid for a major international digital learning and simulation labs project in Sudan. To build our local team, we are seeking a Project Manager.

Duties

  • Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project, TFS, or other project management software.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to capture stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Implement project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban) tailored to specific project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and performance through effective use of SDLC principles and PMBOK guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development or IT infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, SQL, Oracle databases, and cloud computing technologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, VersionOne, or Visio.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and IT governance is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
