Salary: R35 000 - R45 000 (Depending on Experience) Brief Description: A client needs a Project Lead to manage industrial electrical installation projects in the Food & Beverage, Automotive, and Mining sectors. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards, coordinating teams, communicating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Requirements:

• Degree/National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Industrial Automation.
• Minimum 5 years experience in industrial electrical installation or automation projects. Preferably in the Food & Bev or Automotive sectors.
• Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary installation projects in industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing, processing, utilities).
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices, control systems, and automation panels.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems or industrial control equipment.
• Familiarity with hazardous area installations (ATEX, IECEx).
• Experience applying safety in highly regulated sectors (e.g., food & beverage, automotive, mining, utilities).

INTRODUCTION, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fault finding on all PCBs
• Repair electronic circuits
• Perform PCB repairs up to component level
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams
• Read and interpret test equipment results, primarily using a multimeter and oscilloscope
• Knowledge of RF and GSM equipment is beneficial

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Minimum N6 or equivalent / National Diploma or B Tech in Electronics
• Experience as an Electronic Technician in electronic repairs down to component level
• Background in PCB fault finding, repairs, and testing
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB documents, and circuit diagrams
• Experience in electronic assembly
• Experience in fast-paced PCB production is advantageous
• Target and deadline driven
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently

• Be able to do PC board repairs up to component level.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Read and interpret test equipment results primarily a mustimeter and oscillating scope.
