Being part of SAP’s Customer Success organization, we are looking for highly motivated and customer-focused team members to strengthen the Cloud Architecture & Advisory team (CAA). The Cloud Architect acts as a primary point of contact for all technical topics from customer perspective and is working closely with all the other internal teams.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Role

This is a customer facing role where you will support the sales teams during the entire cycle of a Cloud deal. Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:

• Present in detail technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP Private Cloud.
• Present the requirements and value proposition for SAP private cloud on hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and or SAP Professional Services.
• Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
• Work with other teams within the Customer success board area to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams.
• Own the technical discussions with the customer and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the SAP delivery organization as required.
  
  

Education And Qualifications / Skills And Competencies

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.
• High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.
• High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions.
• Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.).
• Good understanding of operational aspects (Application and Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
• Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS; MS Azure or GCP).
• Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects.
• Willingness to undertake customer related travel on short notice.
• Fluency in English is a MUST, other language(s) will be an asset.
  
  

Work Experience

• 8+ years of customer facing SAP Consulting experience.
• 8+ years of solution design, enterprise architecture and or SAP implementation.
• Experience in a customer facing pre-sales role is an advantage.
• Experience and/or certification(s) with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure or GCP) and data centres is a big advantage.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance expertise.
• SAP Application Lifecycle Management and or SAP Operations.
• ITSM, Service Design & Delivery.
• SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills would be very helpful.

Responsibilities (Text Only)

• You will lead your team to deliver customer objectives & Microsoft business targets. Lead them through change using the Demonstrated Capabilities framework and deliver positive Customer Satisfaction. Coach them to become trusted advisors to customers and partners by leveraging Security expertise across M365 and Azure to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes.
• You will coach the team to understand customer objectives and how Unified accelerates value realization. Guide the team to drive positive Customer Satisfaction and share feedback/insights from customers/partners.
• You will coach the team to develop Security opportunities that drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers, ensuring they understand Microsoft's security value proposition and derive value from their investment in Microsoft technology through deep understanding of security solutions and customer scenarios.
• You will coach the team to identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging security technical expertise. Support them in leading technical conversations with customers to maximize value from their Microsoft investments, adhering to MS best practices and policies, and utilizing repeatable Intellectual Property (IP). Manage your business and develop your team to meet customer needs and Microsoft targets.
• You will foster a culture of continuous self-learning and technical excellence. Drive the team to enable customers to realize desired business outcomes, including innovation. Model impactful community engagement and coach the team to contribute to repeatable IP.

Qualifications (Text Only)

• You will lead your team to deliver customer objectives & Microsoft business targets. Lead them through change using the Demonstrated Capabilities framework and deliver positive Customer Satisfaction. Coach them to become trusted advisors to customers and partners by leveraging Security expertise across M365 and Azure to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes.
• You will coach the team to understand customer objectives and how Unified accelerates value realization. Guide the team to drive positive Customer Satisfaction and share feedback/insights from customers/partners.
• You will coach the team to develop Security opportunities that drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers, ensuring they understand Microsoft's security value proposition and derive value from their investment in Microsoft technology through deep understanding of security solutions and customer scenarios.
• You will coach the team to identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging security technical expertise. Support them in leading technical conversations with customers to maximize value from their Microsoft investments, adhering to MS best practices and policies, and utilizing repeatable Intellectual Property (IP). Manage your business and develop your team to meet customer needs and Microsoft targets.
• You will foster a culture of continuous self-learning and technical excellence. Drive the team to enable customers to realize desired business outcomes, including innovation. Model impactful community engagement and coach the team to contribute to repeatable IP.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions, with deep expertise in microservices and distributed systems.
- 3+ years of consulting experience working with enterprise customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
