Duties & ResponsibilitiesJob Description:

- Facilitate regular project team meetings, offering expert guidance and support as required.
- Keep stakeholders abreast of project progress and any pertinent changes in milestones.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electronic engineering design.
- At least 5 years of experience must be post-registration and should be in planning and implementing electronic systems in production environments.
- Sound understanding of construction procedures, standards, and project management expertise.
Qualification:
- BSc, BEng, or BTech degree in Electronic Engineering.
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.

Job Description
The core purpose of the job focuses on the design and development of construction projects for building services (Power and Lighting), electrical infrastructure, and other structures. The job requires close liaison with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure that construction projects are designed according to specifications and that they meet building safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.

Duties & Responsibilities- Develop Electrical Building Services construction project specifications and designs based on customer requirements and building design standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet all client project requirements.
- Working knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create and refine construction project designs, including creating 3D models and animations using CAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the viability of new designs and construction techniques.
- Develop and maintain project and contract documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure that construction projects meet statutory and regulatory requirements and adhere to building safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary project team to ensure that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with defined quality standards.
