Your Role at Impact:

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will focus on delivering tasks within your squad, reviewing code, and expanding your knowledge of our technologies.

This role requires understanding all aspects of a programming language and applying previous solutions to new problems independently.

You will work with services on both the frontend and backend, so full-stack experience is preferred.

You should have practical experience with common design patterns, writing unit tests for new code, and enhancing legacy code with tests. Exposure to at least one cloud platform is necessary, including using the console and building basic cloud applications.

You are expected to confidently reuse existing frameworks and work independently on familiar tasks.

During sprint planning and design sessions, you should feel comfortable asking questions to understand the business context of your tasks.

You will also assist with environment setup and onboarding new team members.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop, test, and maintain software for the platform.
  • Build meaningful unit and functional tests.
  • Collaborate with a distributed team to achieve quarterly objectives.
  • Develop code independently and through pair programming.
  • Maintain design, user, and test documentation.
  • Familiarize yourself with team technologies.
  • Verify and fix bugs to ensure functionality.

As a Software Engineer II, your focus will be on delivering stories for the squad, monitoring production environments and managing deployments to production.

This role assumes that you are able to utilize the latest features of a language and can effectively select and implement the right design pattern to solve problems independently.

You will have experience implementing integration tests, be comfortable working with CI and confidently reuse existing frameworks.

At this level you are expected to have an understanding of the business requirements of all stories in the sprint, implement stories on existing cloud infrastructure and services and independently implement agreed design to spec. You should feel comfortable escalating appropriately.

You are also expected to help team members with implementation

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, test and maintain software for the Platform
  • Build meaningful unit, functional and integration level tests for the software built
  • Collaborate with a distributed team to fulfill the department's quarterly objectives
  • Develop code both independently and while pair programming
  • Write and maintain design, user and test documentation
  • Become familiar with technologies used on the squad
  • Perform triage functionality through verification and fixing of bugs
  • Build customer and non customer facing code.
  • Support software testing and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Create SQL for Tech Updates and ensure this is ready for review
  • Keeps technically abreast of trends and advancements within area of specialization, incorporating these improvements where applicable
  • Review business needs, requirements, technical specifications
  • Respond to alerts, review error messages, and fix bugs in a timely manner
  • Mentor and give guidance to less senior staff to grow careers
  • Perform code reviews
  • Approve pull requests

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will manage and optimize Azure modules like Ultron, Digital Safe, and Feature Environments, ensuring compliance with Azure networking and security policies (Application Gateway, Firewalls, Security Core). You will design and enhance Azure DevOps Pipelines, lead the migration of ADO Classic UI releases to YAML, and automate infrastructure deployment using PowerShell, Terraform, and IaC tools. Responsibilities
  • Providing business support through data analysis and research.
  • Modifying pre-designed queries for research data assessment.

The person in this role will join a fast-paced, flexible full stack team responsible for developing and delivering impactful features and systems that empower collaboration for the world’s most critical organisations.   • Mentor peers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Implement and maintain unit/integration/e2e tests to ensure code quality and robust platform performance

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field/experience
  • 3+ years of experience working as a full-stack software engineer building scalable, production-ready systems
  • Strong skills in our technology stack: TypeScript, React, React Native, Go, and/or PostgreSQL
  • Expertise in full-stack development, including designing APIs, implementing frontends, creating fault-tolerant back-end code, and optimising database performance
  • Enthusiasm for and experience developing with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor and/or GitHub Copilot
  • Solid understanding of modern development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
  • Comfortable working as a product engineer, focused on solving customer-centric problems in addition to writing code
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for diverse audiences
  • Capable of working independently across multiple time zones while actively engaging in team collaboration

Preferences

  • Experience contributing to open-source projects
  • Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Playwright and/or Cypress
  • Expertise in defence, intelligence, or security-focused workflows
  • Has worked fully remotely with global teams
