* No experience is required, as full training is provided. *

Local and foreign students are welcome to work with us too.

This is mostly an after-hours position from 5pm to 9pm and you will work doing massages at top-class hotels for mostly international clients in and the city centre and Waterfront.

There is no set schedule - you only work when there is work for you - and when you can be available.

Preference will be given to applicants that live in these areas. Own transport is preferred - but you can use Uber to get to the hotels for your appointments.

A strong copywriter who can craft messaging that converts

Experienced in hiring/managing team members and freelancers

Proactive, resourceful, and relentless in execution.

AECOM is looking to employ a Senior Engineer - Hydromechanical

Technical Excellence

Mechanical equipment in water conveyance systems, with an emphasis on dam equipment; gates, control valves; screens hoists, etc. experience critical

Experience in the design of bulk fluid conveyance systems: bulk pipelines, valve chambers, surge mitigation; network distribution systems, pump stations; water treatment plants, etc.

Should understand standard fluid conveyance components, how they work, what their limitations are, and how to use them within a design

Experience with inter-discipline coordination – electrical; instrumental; civil structural, etc. Must be able to have meaningful discussions on a technical level on these disciplines, and defer to discipline leads to make final decisions

Constructability and Safety in Design must be in mind during the design process.

Must be able to have robust discussions with stakeholders, get complex ideas across, discuss critical items with other specialists, and manage other personalities, conflicts, etc, while still guiding the discussion to a meaningful result – a solution for the technical problem.

Must be solution-driven; have a positive outlook; and be able to weather the client’s abuse even when not guilty.

Must have the ability to understand drawings,3D design and do CAD reviews, calculations and be general fluid conveyance excellence track record

Minimum Requirements

8+ Years of Experience

BEng Degree from Recognized University, M -Degree will be preferable

Registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA

As a Technical Expert at RHI Magnesita you will work hand in hand with the departments Sales, Engineering and R&D as well as our production plants and pursue the common goal of ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty.

About You

In Addition, You Have

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in technical Marketing of refractories and/ or in the application of refractories in the steel production environment.
  • Experience in quality management systems would be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, ceramic engineering, materials engineering or metallurgical engineering).
  • Good MS office skills.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Distinctive problem-solving competence, strong customer orientation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, 40% of worktime would be used for visiting customers.

About The Job

The main purpose of this job is to spearhead technical marketing of RHI Magnesita products in the respective region by defining aggregate wise product strategies and implement target actions within agreed time frame to improve product performance and maximize profitability.

Your Tasks Will Include

  • Resolve customer complaints and coordinate product failure analysis, trouble shooting and implementing solutions within target time frame to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Verify the effectiveness of the corrective and/or preventive actions implemented for their effectiveness
  • Present & Review Products, Services, Solutions (value creation projects) at Key customers to gain edge over competition
  • Create technical offers & proposals
  • Provide technical expertise and detailed application knowledge of customer processes and refractory products to support the sales activities.

About the Role:

We are working with ModusForce, a UK consultancy that uses Dayforce to transform HR and payroll, combining expert consultants with innovative technology. As they enter an exciting phase of growth and build their Cape Town capability, we are now hiring an experienced Dayforce Solution Architect to support the design and assurance of high-quality HCM solutions, working closely with our Senior Solution Architect. This role is ideal for someone with strong consulting and technical experience in HCM (ideally Dayforce or a comparable platform such as Kronos or UKG) who is ready to step into architecture responsibilities.

You will play a key role in solution design, integration, and technical assurance activities across HR, payroll, and workforce management. As part of a growing team in a dynamic, scale-up environment, you’ll need to be adaptable, hands-on, and excited to build solutions and processes.

Location : Cape Town South Africa – Hybrid 3 days in the office. If applying from outside of Cape Town because you want to relocate, please highlight this at the top of your CV along with Dayforce experience and when you can move by.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the Senior Solution Architect in developing end-to-end solution designs across HR, payroll, and workforce management.
  • Produce technical documentation, design artefacts, and configuration standards.
  • Assist with integration design and data mapping between Dayforce and client/third-party systems.
  • Contribute to design workshops, capturing requirements and shaping solution options.
  • Ensure alignment with defined design standards, governance, and assurance frameworks.
  • Support responses to RFPs, proposals, and change requests with input on technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with consultants to resolve technical design queries during delivery.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

This role provides a unique opportunity for a proactive and driven individual. We are looking for applicants who have:

  • Solid grounding in HCM system Dayforce or similar enterprise HCM systems, with exposure to configuration, integrations, or data models.
  • Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into solution components.
  • Strong attention to detail in producing documentation and technical artefacts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to engage confidently with internal teams and clients.
  • A proactive learning mindset and ambition to progress towards senior architecture roles.

Qualifications:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical/analytical field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in HCM consulting, system implementation, and solution design. Dayforce experience preferred, but exposure to other enterprise HCM platforms (Kronos, UKG etc.) is also relevant.
  • Certifications: HCM platform or enterprise architecture certifications (e.g., Dayforce, UKG, Kronos) are a strong advantage.
