PLIGTE EN VERANTWOORDELIKHEDE
Voorskrifuitreiking en Pasiëntsorg
Interpreteer en verskaf voorskrifte akkuraat volgens SAPC-riglyne.
Voorsien pasiënte van berading, leiding en nasorg met empatie en professionaliteit.
Handhaaf etiese farmaseutiese praktyke en beskerm pasiëntvertroulikheid.
Voorraad- en Voorraadbeheer
Bestuur die bestelling, ontvangs en beheer van Skedule-medisyne en ander farmaseutiese produkte.
Voer gereelde voorraadopnames uit en verseker akkurate voorraadbeheer.
Hou toesig oor vervaldatums, temperatuurmonitering en koueketting-nakoming.
Nakoming en Bestuur
Verseker voldoening aan Goeie Apteekpraktyk (GPP) en relevante wetgewing.
Onderhou volledige en opgedateerde databronne, QCP''s en interne kwaliteitsrekords.
Voldoen aan alle SAPC-, SAHPRA- en Departement van Gesondheid-vereistes en oudits.
Bly op datum met CPD-vereistes en professionele ontwikkelingsstandaarde.
Administrasie en Stelsels
Gebruik die Unisolv-stelsel effektief vir voorskrifuitreiking, eise en voorraadbestuur.
Pas ICD-10-kodes korrek toe vir mediese fonds- en pasiëntfakturering.
Handhaaf akkurate pasiënt- en voorskrifrekords volgens apteekregulasies.
Operasionele Ondersteuning
Ondersteun die Verantwoordelike Apteker waar nodig, insluitend waarnemingswerk tydens verlof of spitsperiodes.
Werk nou saam met assistente en personeel om doeltreffende daaglikse bedrywighede te verseker.
Hou toesig oor ondersteuningspersoneel volgens SAPC-riglyne en bevorder spanwerk.
OPLEIDING, KWALIFIKASIES, ONDERVINDING EN VAARDIGHEDE
Baccalaureus in Farmasie (BPharm of gelykstaande) Verpligtend.
Geregistreer by die Suid-Afrikaanse Aptekersraad (SAPC) en in goeie aansien.
Minimum 35 jaar ervaring op Senior Apteker-vlak vereis.
Minimum 3 jaar ondervinding binne ''n kleinhandelapteekomgewing vereis (NIE hospitaal of soortgelyk nie).
Goeie kennis van voorskrifstelsels (Unisolv of soortgelyk).
Goeie kennis van ICD-10-kodering en eiseprosesse.
Geldige rybewys en eie vervoer sal voordelig wees.
Plaaslike verblyf of bereidwilligheid om te verhuis word vereis.

An opportunity exists for an experienced LOCUM DENTIST (GENERAL PRACTICE) to join a modern, patient-focused healthcare practice based in Newcastle, Northern KwaZulu-Natal.

- The successful candidate will provide comprehensive oral healthcare services while maintaining high clinical, regulatory and patient-care standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform comprehensive oral examinations and formulate treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions.
- Carry out restorative procedures including fillings, crowns and bridges.
- Perform extractions and routine oral surgery procedures.
- Conduct root canal treatment and endodontic procedures where competent.
- Deliver preventative and periodontal treatments.
- Interpret radiographs and diagnostic imaging.
- Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and preventative care.
- Obtain informed consent and clearly explain treatment options and costs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Work closely with dental assistants and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Deliver excellent patient care and maintain a professional bedside manner.
- Manage treatment appointments effectively while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in case discussions and continuous professional development.
- Remain current with modern dental technologies, procedures and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with HPCSA requirements.
- Promote a positive and patient-centred practice culture.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- BChD, BDS or equivalent recognised Dental Degree.
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- Eligible to practice independently within South Africa.
- Experience within private practice advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of restorative and preventative dentistry.
- Ability to perform routine dental procedures including:
- Examinations
- Fillings
- Extractions
- Crowns and bridge work
- Root canal therapy
- Periodontal procedures
- Understanding of dental radiography and diagnostic imaging.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and sterilisation protocols.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
