Key Responsibilities

Provision and configure VMware virtual machines to support evolving infrastructure needs

Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)

DNS servers and records

TLS / SSL certificates

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The key function of this position is to be a technical support resource to support the local network for Power Monitoring, IT and Security. Part of the duties will be to travel to the outside stations on an ad hoc basis for upgrades and changes.  This role must be available to work after hours and be on standby from a standby roster. This role will also need you to be the escalation point for the Tier 1 resource.

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

  • Configuring, Installing and maintenance of network switches;
  • Management & implementation of Clearpass switch configurations & implementation of device configuration updates;
  • Comply to all policies and procedures, including strict compliance to Teraco’s information security policies and procedures;

  • Incident response and management; Problem resolution within agreed timelines;
