Key Responsibilities

    Role overview

    This is your opportunity to play a part in the transformation of our network. We are looking for a Network Logistics Technician to support the Network Construction Team in completing large-scale mains renewal scheme activity within the regional area.

    Responsibilities
    • Responsible for the ordering and delivery of plant, specialist tools and equipment, including chlorination and delivery of coiled pipe.
    • Carry out daily and ad-hoc tasks to ensure Warehouse operations run smoothly, including operation of heavy lifting equipment, housekeeping, data entry for stock control, and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders; support Construction Teams and be responsible for site safety of operatives, customers, the public and the environment.
    What you’ll bring to the role

    Experience in a logistics role, preferably on mains renewal schemes, and/or an NCO qualification with a utilities background. Excellent communication, customer service and stakeholder skills, ability to make prompt, clear decisions, work under pressure and multitask. You must be able to carry out onsite construction work and ensure safe transportation and delivery of materials and equipment with accountability for site safety, operatives, customers, the public and the environment. A full UK driving license is required as travel is involved.

    The right character, positivity and caring attitude are also important.
