Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Paint marking on the road, which has deteriorated, including lines, letters, and symbols using water or solvent based paints. This includes handwork and machine work.
  • Install reflective glass beads in the painted lines and remove damaged studs, repair new road studs and install new road studs.
  • Ensure site clearing and carting to dump all debris.
  • Cut trees, road signs, and dig holes for road furniture posts and repair guard rails and barriers.
  • Wash and clean company vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete stock taking at the store as and when required.
  • Comply with the OHS act by ensuring safe workpractices.

**Role Description:**
The Civil BIM Modeller applies knowledge within an area of a project, to create, manage and update intelligent 3D models for infrastructure projects, typically for civil works such as earthworks platforms, roads & stormwater and utilities.
**Here's what you'll be doing:**
+ Creating detailed 3D models of civil infrastructure works and integrating them into a Common Data Environment.
+ Identifying and resolving conflicts between different design disciplines - clash detection
+ Suitability proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM360, with Autodesk Revit, Dynamo and/or Python advantageous.
+ Willing to upskill on other design/modelling software packages, such as 12D Model.
+ Ensuring model accuracy, using defined BIM standards, while maintaining project LOD requirements - undertake work in accordance with the approved BIM Execution Plan.
+ Work collaboratively with Engineers and Project Managers to produce, review and deliver project deliverables.
The Civil BIM Modeller is expected to work independently, with a moderate level of guidance/supervision and be looking to grow his/her skills and expertise.
**Qualifications**

+ Relevant Certificate in Civil Engineering/Draughting, preferable - Diploma in Civil Engineering
+ 2-3 years of relevant experience with modelling software in a civil engineering environment
