About the Role
Our client is looking for an accurate, energetic, and highly dependable Tokai Warehouse Picker Packer to join an established automotive operations team based in Tokai, Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate picking of orders from bin locations and processing them through to the packing and dispatch bays.
Because you will be working with a high volume of specific automotive components, attention to detail, accuracy, and speed are critical to ensuring our clients and workshops get the right parts on time.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking: Accurately locate and pick stock items from warehouse shelves and bins according to picking slips.
Packing & Labeling: Securely pack parts and inventory items to prevent damage during transit, ensuring all boxes are clearly labeled for delivery or branch transfer.
Stock Verification: Double-check picked parts against part numbers and descriptions on invoices/picking slips to eliminate errors.
Receiving & Shelving: Assist with unpacking incoming stock shipments, verifying quantities, and neatly shelving parts into their correct bin locations.
Warehouse Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the warehouse floor at all times.
Required Qualifications and Experience

Remuneration, Benefits & Leave Structure
Salary: R7,845.00 gross per month.
Probationary Period: A three-month probation period applies to this role. Upon successful completion, the appointment will be made permanent.
Retirement Benefits: This vacancy is in the Motor Industry subject to the (MICFA) Provident Fund. Your employee contribution will be 7.5% of your gross salary, and the company will contribute a further 8%.
Annual Bonus: The company pays an annual bonus in December in accordance with MICFA Regulations . This amount is pro-rata for the months you have been employed during the calendar year.
Annual Leave: Applicant is entitled to 18 days of paid leave per annum.
Hours & Overtime:
Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 & Saturdays 08:00 – 13:00.
Daily lunch breaks of 60 minutes.
Overtime work may be requested depending on operational requirements and will be remunerated as per the MIBCO Agreement with regards to the BCEA salary threshold.
