Our client, a leader in the global energy sector, is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Geophysicist to join their advanced exploration technology division. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for the processing, interpretation, and integration of seismic data to identify and de-risk potential hydrocarbon reserves and geothermal resources. This position requires a deep understanding of seismic imaging techniques, velocity modeling, and attribute analysis. As a senior member, you will lead complex interpretation projects, mentor junior geophysicists, and drive innovation in geophysical workflows. Key Responsibilities- Process, quality control, and interpret 2D and 3D seismic data for exploration and appraisal projects.
- Perform velocity modeling, depth conversion, and seismic attribute analysis to enhance subsurface imaging.
- Integrate seismic data with other geological and engineering data (well logs, core data) to build robust subsurface models.
- Identify, evaluate, and mature exploration prospects and development targets.
- Develop and implement advanced seismic processing and interpretation workflows.
- Conduct feasibility studies and uncertainty assessments for exploration ventures.
- Prepare detailed geophysical reports, technical presentations, and recommendations.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior geophysicists and interpreters.
- Stay current with advancements in seismic technology and geophysical methodologies.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geophysics, Physics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in seismic data processing and interpretation within the energy industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in seismic attribute analysis, structural and stratigraphic interpretation, and velocity modeling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard seismic interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, HampsonRussell, OpendTect).
- Solid understanding of seismic acquisition techniques and data processing flows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, suitable for a remote team environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work remotely from South Africa .

Job Description
+ Take the lead with the trial customer(s) and other internal and external partners to establish, align and confirm data management expectations
+ Creating, planning, and tracking content, format, quality, and timing of data management deliverables, including, but not limited to, CRF, data review plan, QC plan, oversight plan, database release plan, final datasets, submission plan and archival.
+ With the trial customer and other functional partners: - Gathers content and integration requirements for eCRF and other data collection tools.
+ Establishes conventions and quality expectations for clinical data.
+ Establishes expectations for dataset content and structure.
+ Set timelines and follow-up to ensure delivery of all Data Management milestones.
+ Performs trial level oversight controls, as appropriate, as described in the oversight plan, QC process and work instructions with minimal DML direction.
+ Creates clinical data management documents (including submission package) ensuring appropriate quality, scientific content, organization, clarity, accuracy, format, and consistency. Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and the documentation matrix.
+ Ensures real-time inspection readiness of all Data Management deliverables for the trial; Participate in Regulatory Agency and audits, as necessary.
+ Helps plan, create and track content, format, quality, and timing of data
+ management deliverables, including, but not limited to, Case Report Form, data review plan, QC plan, oversight plan, database release plan, final datasets, submission plan and archival.
+ Ensures deliverables are on time.
+ Participates in the assigned clinical working group(s) to ensure that Data
+ Management and Therapeutic Area trial needs and deliverables are met.
+ Helps Identify and communicate lessons learned, best practices and frequently asked questions at the trial level.
+ Presents and trains at investigator and monitor meetings
**Education/Experience**
+ BS/BA degree or higher preferably in Health Sciences, or BS/BA degree or higher with professional clinical experience/exposure.
+ 5 years Data management experience.
+ 3 years lead/co-lead experience
+ Vendor Management experience
+ RAVE experience
