Job Description:
- Design, build, and maintain robust QA automation frameworks, test strategies, and test cases
- Develop and execute automated test suites (functional, integration, regression, API)
- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC
- Perform manual and exploratory testing when required, especially for complex scenarios and edge cases
- Identify, track, and manage defects working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated testing runs seamlessly in build and deployment workflows
- Define and track quality metrics (coverage, defect density, automation levels, etc.)
- Review system designs and requirements from a quality perspective early in the lifecycle
- Mentor other QA engineers and contribute to improving QA standards and practices across the team
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in QA / Test Engineering with strong exposure to automation
- Strong coding ability, comfortable writing and maintaining automated tests
- Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and best practices
- Experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to identify edge cases, think critically, and ensure software reliability
- Strong communication skills, able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments
Qualification:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
