Our client, a prominent international organization, is seeking a highly skilled Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in global logistics and distribution network optimization. This fully remote position will involve the analysis, design, and continuous improvement of our client's worldwide supply chain network. You will leverage advanced analytical tools and strategic thinking to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across all distribution channels. The ideal candidate is a self-directed professional with extensive experience in network modeling, transportation optimization, and warehouse operations, capable of driving significant impact from a remote location. Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and model global logistics networks, including transportation routes, warehousing strategies, and inventory placement.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize network design, reduce lead times, and minimize operational costs.
  • Utilize advanced optimization software and simulation tools to evaluate network scenarios and identify the best-performing configurations.
  • Collaborate remotely with international logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to gather data and implement changes.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and distribution operations, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency and transportation management.
  • Develop business cases and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in global logistics and supply chain management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and transportation laws.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering with a specialized focus on global logistics and network optimization.
  • Expertise in network design and optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft, AnyLogic, Gurobi) and WMS/TMS systems.
  • Proven experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, and modeling techniques.
  • Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, global projects independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic mindset.
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation and managing cross-cultural teams remotely.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools is highly desirable.

+ Provides data management support, oversight and/or accountability for one or more clinical trials.
+ Take the lead with the trial customer(s) and other internal and external partners to establish, align and confirm data management expectations
+ Creating, planning, and tracking content, format, quality, and timing of data management deliverables, including, but not limited to, CRF, data review plan, QC plan, oversight plan, database release plan, final datasets, submission plan and archival.
+ With the trial customer and other functional partners: - Gathers content and integration requirements for eCRF and other data collection tools.
+ Establishes conventions and quality expectations for clinical data.
+ Establishes expectations for dataset content and structure.
+ Set timelines and follow-up to ensure delivery of all Data Management milestones.
+ Performs trial level oversight controls, as appropriate, as described in the oversight plan, QC process and work instructions with minimal DML direction.
+ Creates clinical data management documents (including submission package) ensuring appropriate quality, scientific content, organization, clarity, accuracy, format, and consistency. Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and the documentation matrix.
+ Ensures real-time inspection readiness of all Data Management deliverables for the trial; Participate in Regulatory Agency and audits, as necessary.
+ Helps plan, create and track content, format, quality, and timing of data
+ management deliverables, including, but not limited to, Case Report Form, data review plan, QC plan, oversight plan, database release plan, final datasets, submission plan and archival.
+ Ensures deliverables are on time.
+ Participates in the assigned clinical working group(s) to ensure that Data
+ Management and Therapeutic Area trial needs and deliverables are met.
+ Helps Identify and communicate lessons learned, best practices and frequently asked questions at the trial level.
+ Presents and trains at investigator and monitor meetings
**Education/Experience**
+ BS/BA degree or higher preferably in Health Sciences, or BS/BA degree or higher with professional clinical experience/exposure.
+ 5 years Data management experience.
+ 3 years lead/co-lead experience
+ Vendor Management experience
+ RAVE experience
