Our client is seeking a seeking a versatile Data Engineer / Data Scientist to drive data-driven insights. This onsite role involves end-to-end data lifecycle management: building robust data pipelines, developing advanced analytical and ML/AI solutions, and creating impactful dashboards and reports for both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will transform raw data from diverse sources (web, social, internal systems) into actionable intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Data pipeline and modeling: Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from various sources. Develop and optimize data models and schemas for consumption by BI, ML, and AI applications.
- Dashboarding and reporting: Create interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and comprehensive client reports, visualizing key trends and insights.
- Machine learning and AI: Identify opportunities, develop, and deploy predictive models and AI solutions.
- Querying and analysis: Utilize advanced SQL and NoSQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that align with business goals.
Qualifications and experience:
- A relevant degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer science, Data science, Statistics)
- Technical stack:
- Programming: Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Query languages: Expertise in latest SQL dialects (e.g., T-SQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL .
- Cloud platforms: Hands-on experience with latest Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, ML) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI).
- BI tools: Extensive experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio for dashboarding.
- Data technologies: Understanding of data warehousing/lake concepts.
- Project experience: Proven track record of completed data engineering/science projects
