Administration of Chemotherapy and Oncology Treatments
  1. Supervise chemotherapy Extenders / Physician Extenders.

  3. Interpret and manage blood results in consultation with a doctor.
  4. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting abnormalities.
  5. Record patient allergies.
  6. Provide written information about treatments and obtain informed consent.
  7. Demonstrate competency in intravenous access and catheter management, including extravasation management.
  8. Program infusion pumps and instruct patients on their use at home.
  9. Administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies as per protocol.

  12. Identify, report, and record adverse reactions.
  13. Offer emotional support and refer to social workers as needed.
