Job Summary: As a NxaTel Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting VoIP systems and related infrastructure, including cabling. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering top-tier customer service, ensuring clients receive prompt and reliable support. This position is ideal for someone who loves traveling, thrives in a hands-on technical environment, and enjoys IT fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- VoIP Installation & Maintenance: Install and configure VoIP systems for clients, ensuring all equipment functions optimally. Perform system upgrades and repairs as needed.
- Cabling & Infrastructure Setup: Install and maintain network cabling, routers, switches, and other related hardware to support VoIP services and internet connectivity.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Provide on-site and remote technical support, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to VoIP systems and IT infrastructure.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly explaining technical information to non-technical users. Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing service requests and resolving issues efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, maintenance, and repairs. Ensure all documentation is updated in company systems.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the service delivery team to ensure timely completion of installations and maintenance. Communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of VoIP systems and configurations.
- Proficient in network cabling and infrastructure setup (routers, switches, modems, etc.).
