Senior Process Engineer Position

Our client, a global tech firm, is seeking 5 Senior Process Engineers to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates, and a great working environment.

The ideal candidate will:

1. Drive strategic and tactical aspects of discovering, validating, documenting, and communicating business process-related knowledge through modeling, simulating, and analyzing current and future states.
2. Have above-average computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
3. Scope, size, and plan all business aspects of a solution and the associated project effort and dependencies.
4. Define and tailor the business/process analysis approach at project lifecycle level.
5. Facilitate workshops with business users (up to executive level) to gather requirements, generate ideas, and validate designs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst assessing, mapping, and optimizing business processes.
• Experience in delivering formal projects implementing business process change with process automation and document management technologies.
• Knowledge and experience in applying formal business process modeling or business analysis methodologies.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and process performance issues in a traditional organization.
• Experience in applying process modeling standards such as BPMN and ECP.
• Exposure to business process transformation technologies including Business Process Reengineering, Workflow Management, Process automation, Business Rules Engines, Enterprise Content Management, and more.
• Experience in projects involving formal Change Management and understanding of its importance in business process transformation.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts.
• Ability to use Use Cases to specify requirements and collaborate with Systems Analysts and architects.
• Understanding of data modeling and basic SQL database query abilities.
• Experience within the financial services environment is advantageous.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of Process Engineering experience, with at least 5 years as a Senior Process Engineer.
