Full Job Description

We are looking for a National Parts Manager for Chery and Omoda who will work closely with the Aftersales and Parts team to ensure the daily effectiveness of the overall Aftersales Parts department.

The National Parts Manager will be responsible for all Chery and Omoda parts, ensuring that not only dealers receive parts timeously, but also ensuring that the parts warehouse is stocked as per operational requirements. The candidate will be based at the Chery Parts Warehouse and will focus on all vehicle parts to ensure dealers are effectively and efficiently assisted.

Responsibilities:

  • Parts Inventory and Sales Management:
  • Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Meeting monthly sales targets and ensuring maximum first pick rate and first fill rates.
  • Purchase order processing and ensuring timely deliveries to dealers.
  • Develops sales promotions and campaigns, and attends managers meetings to align strategies.
  • Stock level control, performing inventory controls and ensuring minimal obsolescence.
  • Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the Brands guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Matric.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field would be advantageous.
  • 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role, OEM experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MS Office proficiency, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
