Managed People Solutions is Looking to hire a Marketing Manager for a well-known liquor company based in Johannesburg and Cape town.
Job Purpose
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a 360° integrated Marketing Communications Strategy to build the company brand, as well as creating awareness, demand and exposure for company courses and offerings directly in support of the sales strategy.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and evaluate the marketing strategy in alignment with the overall strategic business objectives.
- Ensure detailed segmentation per target audience by course and region accompanied by an effective Omnichannel Strategy.
- Develop and execute national promotions and campaigns in collaboration with the Course and Experience Managers to create pull and support sales conversion.
- Mapping of all digital marketing platforms as optimal targeting channels with tactical strategies within budget.
- Develop and maintain the company website including e-commerce ensuring SEO.
- Develop and manage an effective Social Media Strategy for all active platforms including planning, content creation, posting and community management.
- Management and maintenance of branding and content for online learning platforms, e-commerce, digital asset management etc.
- Effective PR programs for internal and external communications and sustained course and brand exposure.
- Manage exposure of company brand at relevant public events. Assisting with hosting of events and experiences.
- Promote continuous participation in National Management meetings to provide weekly feedback
- Forecasting annual and quarterly budgets for marketing initiatives with relevant ROI calculations.
- Effective management of all relevant incoming and acquired data, ensuring that relevant insights and learnings are drawn and put into action plans.
- Development of strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and leading cross functional collaboration with internal customers and external players.
- Continuous focus on opportunities/initiatives aimed at improving process efficiencies and streamlining processes across the entire department.
- Identify key risk elements pertaining to the design and execution of strategy and communicate mitigating interventions.
- Develop and review all SOPs, to ensure required SOPs are completed, up-to-date, relevant, and trained within the department and adhered to.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Tertiary Education: Degree or Diploma in Marketing
- CWA Certificate Wine Course (Beneficial)
- 3-5 years marketing experience in the Wine industry
- Marketing experience in the Liquor, Hospitality or Tourism industries (Beneficial)
