The Grant Development Services (GDS) group at Metasoft Systems delivers a full range of fundraising support, strategy and planning advice to non-profits and charitable organizations throughout North America, the United Kingdom and Australia.
GDS currently has an opening for a contract-based Grant Writer to prepare grant proposals, letters of inquiry and a wide range of supporting documents for its client base of 3,000 organizations.
Reporting directly to the GDS Director, the Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing and editing documents on behalf of clients.
Applications will only be accepted for candidates with the following qualifications:
- a minimum of three years of grant writing and RFP response experience
- Post-secondary degree
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within the charitable sector;
- Requisite computer literacy.
- A fully fitted professional home office, with own laptop/PC, video conferencing capabilities (webcam and mic), high speed reliable internet connectivity and back-up power supply
- Effective and responsive communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and a high level of responsibility, given that the role is remote
