GMR(2) Mechanical Engineer

Full Job Description

Main job function: Company is seeking a well-rounded candidate that can manage the following:

1. Maintenance management
2. Capital and maintenance Budget Management and compilation
3. Safety management - put better safety regulations in place
4. Play an active role in EHS, TPM, and quality systems, procedures, and continuous improvements
5. Manage all engineering contractors
6. Manage +- 6 staff at Wadeville plant and 6 staff at Durban plant
7. Contract management

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (min: 7 years maintenance management experience in the chemical or related industry) or Btech / NHD in Mechanical Engineering with Government Certificate and 10 years Maintenance management experience

Important notes:

• Must have chemical manufacturing sector experience
• Stable track record of candidates staying at a company for a minimum of 3 years
