We are currently hiring for the position of Field Technician

We are looking for a Field Technician to join our technical support team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and services to our clients. If you have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic field environment, we encourage you to apply.

1. Receive technical instruction from the Technical Manager as and when necessary.
2. Carry out duties and tasks efficiently.
3. Perform various technical tasks such as cable laying, splicing, repairs, and installations.
4. Perform site surveys and provide technical assistance on printer scanner infrastructures.
5. Plan and execute fixed SLA PMIs and provide necessary technical services for fault callouts.
6. Complete job cards, plan daily tasks, and be available for technical support.
7. Monitor stock, test and configure equipment, and maintain communication within the office.

Your expertise should include network cabling installation experience, communication skills, driver’s license, and knowledge/experience with various installations and equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degrees are a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and customer relations management are advantageous.

We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated, well-presented individuals with good communication skills and IT technical support experience. Ability to work within a team and oversee project deployment is essential.

3-month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent. Location: Johannesburg, Fourways - (Onsite)
