Job Description:

Designs or modifies data models to solve complex database requirements considering business and application needs. Organizes metadata for use by teams.

• Participates in enterprise-wide logical data modeling and leads efforts on assigned data subject areas.
• Participates in the implementation and management of the global metadata repository.
• Assists with creating and maintaining enterprise-wide data standards.
• Provides application-level data modeling for project development teams.
• Plans, conducts and coordinates the design of state-of-the-art data model designs and metadata management.
• Identifies metadata sources, develops metadata management capabilities, monitors metadata quality, and develops common data definitions.
• Assists with the implementation of metadata management tools.
• Facilitates formal and informal discussions to support database designs.

• Strong PC applications (Access, Lotus Notes, Excel, Word,
• PowerPoint) skills and a familiarity with Internet applications.
• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related discipline, or knowledge acquired through equivalent experience
• 5 years of information technology experience
• 3 years in database administration area
• Knowledge of IQVIA products, systems, database management standards and protocol.
• Familiar with third party software platforms
