The role of the CiscoCertified Network Professional
Security Engineer encompasses many activitieswithin the scope of the
relevant services including (but not limited to):
- Network Security.
- Vulnerability
Management Security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
across all endpointsand network resources in terms of patching,
vulnerabilities and threats.
- Excellent understanding
of security issues associatedwith operating systems, networking, and
virtualization software, 0365applications and identity and access
management.
- Excellent IT technical knowledge of wired
network andcloud computing.
- Excellent knowledge of
cybersecurity across all thesecurity service areas.

Good understanding of hacking and how to identify anddetect and
perform remediation.
- Have a good awareness and in
depth understanding ofsecurity standards and best practices.
- Excellent ability to examine technical issues relatingto
security incidents.
- Cisco user management and
operations firewall support.
- Network vulnerability
testing reports.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or
applicablecourses.
- Cisco CCNP Security Certification.
- 3-5 years' experience in policy configurations,
integrations,deployments, management and troubleshooting of:
- ASA
- Security Identity Management
- 3-5 years' experience and expertise in the Cisco Weband
Video Conferencing and
- 3-5 years’ experience in the
implementation,configuration, support and management of the Cisco
Identify Services Engineincluding architecture.
