StratLab Consulting is partnering with a well-established and growing insurance organisation in Centurion to appoint an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Consultant.
We are seeking a client-focused insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service while building long-term relationships with clients and brokers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage personal lines insurance portfolios
- Process policy amendments, endorsements and cancellations
- Handle renewals and retention activities
- Assist clients with policy queries and coverage requirements
- Prepare and process quotations and policy documentation
- Liaise with clients, brokers and insurers
- Ensure all policy administration is completed accurately and timeously
- Maintain exceptional service standards and client satisfaction
- Support business growth through professional client engagement
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 2 years' experience within Short-Term Insurance
- Personal Lines experience is essential
- Previous experience in underwriting, broker support, policy administration or client servicing advantageous
- Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and administrative ability
- Professional, proactive and customer-centric approach
- Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment

- Processing daily financial transactions and journal entries
- Bank, creditor, debtor and petty cash reconciliations
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- VAT, PAYE, UIF and SDL calculations and SARS submissions
- Tax administration and statutory compliance
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Audit preparation and year-end financial support
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Payroll support where required
- General finance administration and ad hoc projects for the CFO and MD
- BCom Accounting, Financial Management or equivalent accounting qualification
- 3-5 years' practical accounting experience
- Previous experience within the construction, engineering, mining or related project-based industries is essential
- Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE, tax and SARS processes
- Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations
- Excellent Excel skills and strong accounting systems experience (Sage, SAP, Oracle or similar)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys taking ownership and learning

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the full finance function across multiple local and offshore entities. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, ownership of month-end reporting, statutory compliance, audit management, and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, IFRS 16, fixed assets, payroll, transfer pricing, and management reporting.
- Oversee tax and statutory submissions, including VAT, income tax, dividend withholding tax, and securities transfer tax.
- Manage intercompany accounting, loan accounts, and transfer pricing across local and international entities.
- Lead the annual audit process, prepare financial statements, and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee daily finance operations, banking, payments, and financial controls.
- Drive finance projects, process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.
- Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Proven experience managing month-end, audits, tax, and multiple entities.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems experience.
- Financial services or stockbroking experience is highly advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
