Key Responsibilities
- Manage receiving, dispatch, stock control and inventory.
- Process orders, returns and stock transfers.
- Coordinate deliveries and transport schedules.
- Conduct stock takes and maintain stock integrity.
- Supervise Warehouse Assistants.
- Work closely with the sales team, suppliers and auditors.
- Assist customers with loading and offloading stock when required.
- Grade 12.
- Previous Warehouse Management experience.
- Building materials, hardware or retail industry experience advantageous.
- SAP experience highly advantageous.
- Forklift operating experience (license preferred).
- Strong organizational and stock control skills.
- Previous workplace training advantageous (H&S, racking, firefighting, first aid, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and offloading stock.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
