Your Purpose :As a Mobility Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the organization's Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and IT operations. You will ensure seamless alignment with business objectives, drive innovation, and enhance efficiency through the effective use of technology. This role requires expertise in cloud-based services, end-user computing (EUC), and virtualization technologies, with a focus on providing secure, scalable, and high-performing IT solutions.
Your Responsibilities :- Advise clients on the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of MDM solutions to ensure company-owned mobile devices are secure and well-managed.
- Develop and execute strategies for cloud-based services, optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Guide EUC initiatives, including desktop and application virtualization, remote access, and user profile management.
- Stay up-to-date with airline industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as application development, network operations, and information security, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT services.
- Manage the development and maintenance of documentation, including standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and service level agreements, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
To be successful, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical certifications such as Apple Certifications, Microsoft, AWS, or MDM-related certifications are also required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing technical support services, with at least 5 years in a similar role, is necessary. You should have a strong understanding of MDM solutions like VMware Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune, or MobileIron. Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as experience with Citrix virtualization technologies (XenDesktop and XenApp), is crucial. Apple (iOS) experience is essential for supporting Apple devices.
Deep knowledge of EUC technologies like VMware Horizon, Microsoft RDS, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is also required. Familiarity with desktop support best practices, including ITIL and HDI, and airline industry-specific technologies (departure control systems, flight operations, and crew management) will be highly advantageous.
You must demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments while managing multiple priorities.
